What to Expect

Choir

It is our desire that when you attend a service at Bethesda, the focus of your heart, soul and mind will be directed toward the awesome God of the universe.  Our goal is to magnify Christ through both worship and the proclamation of the Word of God.  And we know that your first time at any church brings up some questions. What should I wear… what’s available for my kids… what should I expect in church? Here is a quick look at what you can expect, based on what people see when they visit Bethesda.

When you arrive you will be warmly greeted and given any direction or help you may need to find your way to where you need to be, classes for children, etc...  The person sitting next to you in worship may wear a suit and tie or jeans, so come as you are!

During our Sunday morning worship service, we begin with fresh and vibrant expressions of our love for God through music from our worship-leading choir, orchestra, or praise team.  We then spend time in the Bible and hear how to apply its truths to our personal lives.  After the service we invite you to find out more about Bethesda, it's staff and people by attending an informal welcome reception.  At this reception you will learn about getting involved in Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs). Many of the adults at Bethesda do attend ABFs because we find that the smaller learning environment allows for better relationship building and more specialized bible study.

We provide a nursery and deaf interpreting for each service and a special needs class for the Sunday morning service.  If we can be of further assistance to you, let us know.  [contact email]

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
