Perfoming Arts

Music classes are offered through eighth grade. The Upper School offers both band and choir. Students with a keen interest in the performing arts are encouraged to further develop their skills by participating in various performances including talent shows, seasonal performances and musicals. Students compete in ISSMA vocal and instrumental competitions.

Lower School

Elementary students learn about rhythm and how to read music notation. Third grade students learn to play the recorder while band and choir is offered at the fourth and fifth grade levels. Fourth and fifth grades also take a field trip to the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and enjoy caroling at Christmas time.
