In John 13:34 Jesus said “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."  The action of love together with the phrase "one another" was often repeated by the Apostle Paul, and many times by the Apostle John.  It's a duty of believers but it's also a privilege to love one another because in so doing we follow in the footsteps of Jesus.  He modeled loving care for those He came in touch with and He certainly loves us as demonstrated by His death for us.  As a church body, we recognize that there are many members at Bethesda who are in need of our care. In hopes of not overlooking our own, we periodically take up a benevolence offering, to help those among us who need assistance. Let us know if we can help you.
